Model City AR – Data Collection

The Model City AR application does not collect, store, or process any personal data beyond pseudonymised/anonymised analytics data, collected via Google Analytics for Firebase.

Google Analytics for Firebase:

• Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland
• Purpose: To understand app usage (e.g., screen views, session length, feature interaction, crash reporting) in order to improve app performance and the user experience.
• Data Processed: A pseudonymous App Instance ID, device/OS information, approximate (city-level) location derived from IP address, and in-app event data. IP addresses are not stored against individual records.

Specifically:

• No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect names, email addresses, photos, or any directly identifying information through the app.
• No Advertising Identifiers:
Advertising ID collection and Google Signals (which can link analytics data to a user's Google account) are disabled, so analytics data cannot be linked back to an individual via their Google account.
• No Account Required: The app does not require user registration or login, and no user profiles are created or maintained.
• No Third-Party Sharing Beyond Google: Analytics data is processed by Google solely for the purposes above and is not sold or shared for advertising purposes.
• No Automated Decision-Making: Analytics data is not used for profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
• Children's Data: As no personal data is knowingly collected, no personal data is knowingly collected from children using the app.
